20  Janey’s Decision
As best I could make out, a strong Prince could be challenging but a weak Prince was just trouble. Since my chart made it difficult to determine which side of the strength-divide I landed on, and since Janey was a Miser of a particular type, her combined reading for the two of us offered a stark choice.
“Either you should leave right away,” Janey said, “or you should never leave at all.”
I was all for staying.
“I’d never get any sleep,” Janey said.
She relented enough to let me stay the night, though not without misgivings.
